Hair Extensions in Jacksonville, FL | K-Tip and Sew-In Weft

At 904 Balayage we install K-Tip and sew-in weft hair extensions for women in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville Beach, Fleming Island and Orange Park who want natural-looking length and volume that works with their real life.

Every extension install at 904 Balayage uses 100% Remy, ethically sourced hair — with no beard at the attachment point and a 12-month quality guarantee. Our extension specialists are Bellami certified and trained in both color and extension integration so your install and your color work as one complete picture from day one.

We call it The 904 Method.

HAIR YOU'RE PROUD OF

The Soft Launch
Your introduction to extensions. This tier is for the client who is curious but cautious — who wants to add a little volume, a little length, or a little density without a dramatic change. Think of it as testing the waters. You will leave looking like a better version of yourself, not a different person.
Available as: K-Tip or Sew-In Weft

The Main Character
This is the transformation tier. Fuller volume, more length, more impact — for the client who is ready to fully commit to her hair and step into the version of herself she has been picturing. This is the install that stops people in their tracks.
Available as: K-Tip or Sew-In Weft

The Sugar Appointment
Your maintenance tier. Whether you are coming back for a move-up, a reinstall or a refresh — The Sugar Appointment keeps your extensions looking as good as the day they were installed. We take care of the details so you do not have to think about it.
Available as: K-Tip or Sew-In Weft

Not sure which tier is right for you? Fill out the consultation form and we will tell you exactly what to expect.

The 904 Method | Our Signature Extension Experience

The right client for extensions is someone who is ready to treat her hair like the investment it is. That means:

Learning a simple care routine we will walk you through at your appointment
• Using extension-safe products (we will tell you exactly which ones)
• Avoiding tight ponytails and buns for the first few days after your install
• Blow drying your roots after washing — wet bonds left to air dry cause matting
• Brushing gently from the ends up, morning and night

If that sounds like something you can commit to, you are the right fit. If you are not sure, fill out the consultation form and we will be honest with you about whether extensions make sense for your hair and your lifestyle right now.

Extensions Are an Investment. Here Is What That Looks Like

How It Works

Tell us about your hair goals, your lifestyle and what you are currently unhappy with. We use this to figure out exactly which method and tier is right for you before we ever meet.

1. Fill out the consultation form

Once we have confirmed your install plan, a non-refundable deposit reserves your appointment. We then order your custom color-matched hair so it is ready for your install day.

2. Confirm your details and secure your spot

We take care of everything. You come in, we install, you leave with a complete at-home care routine and a maintenance plan so you know exactly when to come back and what to expect.

3. Your install day

Are Sew-In Wefts or K-Tips Right For You?

how you wear your hair

If you wear your hair down most days, wefts give you that full, structured look with less install time. If you live in buns, ponytails, or love a claw clip, K-Tips are the move.

How you live your life

Wefts require move up appointments every
6-8 weeks, so they're perfect for clients who already love regular salon visits. K-Tips last 4-5 months with no maintenance in between.

How you want it to feel

Wefts give bold body and hold, perfect for thicker styles and high-volume blowouts. K-Tips move and feel like your real hair. They live soft, bouncy, and undetectable.

"I’ve had extensions multiple times in the past, but she is by far the best in Jacksonville, FL! Other extensions would fall out and these are phenomenal!! She took the time to communicate, and be patient to install the sew in wefts. She is super great at her job, and I would highly recommend her!!" - Verified Google Review

Can I Swim With Hair Extensions?

technically yes, but carefully

You can swim with both techniques, but chlorine, salt water, and sunscreen can dry out the hair and weaken the bonds. It's not about skipping the pool - it's about protecting your investment.

what can go wrong

Water can cause matting, dryness, and bond breakdown, or leave your extensions feeling stiff or sticky - especially with K-Tips. Wefts may swell or shed if left wet for too long.

what to do instead

If you know you'll get them wet, coat your hair with a conditioner, braid it tightly, and avoid full submersion if possible. If they do get soaked, rinse with clean water ASAP and brush from the ends up.

Living in Jacksonville means pool season is basically year-round — so yes, we get this question a lot

“I love wearing K-Tip's because they literally look so natural and they are so much more flexible with my lifestyle.”

How Long Do Hair Extensions Last?

Every set we install uses 100% Remy, ethically sourced hair , cuticles intact, aligned, and guaranteed to move like your real hair. No beard at the attachment point. No shortcuts on quality. Backed by a 12-month hair guarantee.

Your hair should still look like your hair.

K-Tips are a one time use method, meaning the hair is removed and replaced with each new install. Most clients wear them for 4-6 months before booking a fresh set.

The better you are to them, the better they are to you.
