how you wear your hair
If you wear your hair down most days, wefts give you that full, structured look with less install time. If you live in buns, ponytails, or love a claw clip, K-Tips are the move.
How you live your life
Wefts require move up appointments every
6-8 weeks, so they're perfect for clients who already love regular salon visits. K-Tips last 4-6 months with no maintenance in between.
How you want it to feel

how long will my hair last?
Wefts should last 9-12 months with proper care and regular maintenance, making them a long term investment. You'll come in every 6-8 weeks for a move up, but the hair itself can be used multiple times.
K-Tips are a one time use method, meaning the hair is removed and replaced with each new install. Most clients wear them for 4-6 months before booking a fresh set.

Can I swim with them?
technically yes, but carefully
You can swim with both techniques, but chlorine, salt water, and sunscreen can dry out the hair and weaken the bonds. It's not about skipping the pool - it's about protecting your investment.
what can go wrong
Water can cause matting, dryness, and bond breakdown, or leave your extensions feeling stiff or sticky - especially with K-Tips. Wefts may swell or shed if left wet for too long.
what to do instead
If you know you'll get them wet, coat your hair with a conditioner, braid it tightly, and avoid full submersion if possible. If they do get soaked, rinse with clean water ASAP and brush from the ends up.
